RAK Hospital (RAKH) a unit of Arabian Healthcare Group LLC incorporated in the Emirates of Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
This policy describes how RAKH collects, processes, uses and discloses your personal information as a data controller, when you contact us, use our services or interact with our platforms including websites and mobile apps (together “Platforms”).
RAKH Mobile app enable the Patients to access their personal Medical Records and a host of other functionalities for RAKH visits. Currently the app is free and RAKH would not be charging anything from its Patients for usage of the same.
On choosing to use RAKH App, the user agrees to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for (i) developing new services and / or improving the existing Services (ii) to send users emails about special offers, new services or other information (iii) to personalize the sessions on the app in order to better fit your interests, such as offering them relevant, individually tailored content.
Type of Information, Source of Collection and Use
We will not disclose above information to any other person unless required for providing you the desired services or required under the Law or if the information is already in public domain. You may choose to not provide any sensitive information to us, if you feel and find it to be confidential / sensitive.
We never collect bank/credit card information of the Information Provider.

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. Intended use– Ancestry testing helps you find your roots and origin of your DNA, where your ancestors came from, your family migration pattern and your DNA lineage. The report compares your DNA to 161 populations from different Geographic Regions across the globe to predict your ethnicity, geographical origins of your DNA and genetically identical ancestors.
Risks- There are no physical risks involved with providing a Saliva sample for DNA testing
Report- Your result will be ready approximately 4-6 weeks from the time the laboratory receives your sample and consent form. The ancestry testing kit price of 1250 AED is meant for one individual test only.
Data Privacy- By signing this form, you are consenting to RAK Hospital to perform a genetic testing and data analysis of your sample. The data will be used by the RAK Hospital NGS lab to analyze and match your DNA test result and creating a scientific genome database or used for scientific/academic understanding of ethnicity without mentioning your identity and personal information. We have multiple layers of physical, technical, and administrative procedures to protect your Data from unauthorized access and your data will be kept highly confidential and not shared with any third party.
Legal- The report is not authorized to be used or reproduced in the legal court and hold no legal entitlements Paternal or guardian consent is required for the participation of a minor child under 18 years
