Dr. Muhja earned her MBBS in 1993 from Alarab Medical University, Libya. She then received her full registration as a consultant in 2015 from the Sudan Medical Council, followed by an MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Sudan and MRCOG (UK) in 2006. She obtained her FRCOG (UK) in 2018. Prior to joining RAK Hospital, she was associated with various hospitals in the UAE, Sudan, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. Dr. Muhja has a special interest in the management of high-risk pregnancy, complicated vaginal deliveries (breech, twins), ectopic pregnancy, ovarian cystectomy, abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy and myomectomy, hysteroscopic myomectomy and polypectomy, para-vaginal repair, and vaginal PRP, amongst others. Furthermore, she has wide experience in assisting reproductive technologies like IUI, IVF, ICSI, TESA, and endometrial PRP. As part of her experience, she attended various international courses and workshops in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Sudan, and the UK.
