Consultant Urologist
Dr. Bernard Faraj earned his MD in 2009 from the European Board of Urology – Beirut-Lebanon and Fellow of the EBU (FEBU) – European Board of Urology. Additionally, he received his Diploma in Urinary Tract Stones and Advanced Surgical Laparoscopy from Université Paris XI – Paris-France.
Dr. Bernard has extensive experience in treating prostate-related conditions, Diagnosing Prostate Cancer, Female Urology, Laparoscopic, General Urology, Pediatric Urology and Robotic and Endourology.
Before joining RAK Hospital, he has worked with various prestigious hospitals in Lebanon including BMG Fouad Khoury Hospital, Clinique Du Levant, Sin El Fil, Rosary Sisters Hospital and HLG University hospital in Beirut.
Furthermore, he collaborated with a team of over 10 urologists in France for the development of a well-known Urology department in Centre Hospitalier d’Auxerre in France from Nov 2006 to Nov 2007 and in Centre Hospitalier de Pontoise in France from Nov 2007 to Nov 2009. Moreover, most importantly he learned robotic surgery, laparoscopy and renal transplantation at Centre Hospitalier Henri Mondor in Creteil, France from Nov 2009 to May 2010.
