The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ADCCI) launched the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) in 1999. More than 10,000 organizations in the UAE have since used its model of excellence and hundreds of them annually participated in its assessment cycles and tens every year are recognized as recipients of the SKEA Awards conferred upon them by HH the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, the official Patron of the Award. Applicants to the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Awards are drawn from all sectors of the economy.
