While on holiday in Dubai, my son suddenly became unwell. We took him to RAK Hospital and were seen quickly. The care was excellent – Dr. Waseem Ahmed, his pediatrician, was attentive, acted quickly, and made sure my son received everything he needed to recover.
The ICU nurses were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and caring, which made a very stressful time much easier for us. We felt safe, supported, and truly looked after throughout our time in the hospital.

I walked into RAK Hospital with what I thought was just a small discomfort in my chest and nothing serious. But to my surprise, tests revealed that three major coronary arteries were blocked. I needed coronary artery bypass surgery, and it had to be performed without delay.
It was overwhelming at first, but my cardiothoracic surgeon, Dr. Adil Rizvi, brought me peace of mind with his calm and confident approach. He explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and reassured my family every step of the way. His expertise in the operating room and his compassion outside of it made all the difference. I would also like to say thank you to the nursing team, whose outstanding care and tireless dedication made my recovery smoother and more comfortable.
Today, I’m recovering well, and I’m alive because someone took my “small discomfort” seriously. I will forever be grateful to the entire team at RAK Hospital.

I met Dr. Nilesha on 9th July 2025, a day before my CS surgery. I instantly felt comfortable with her and trusted her plans for me and my baby. My surgery with her went smoothly, and my baby was delivered safely. What I love about Dr. Nilesha is that she explains everything and always makes sure you understand. I wish she could have been my OB in my second pregnancy.
I’d also like to thank all the nurses in NICU. They really took good care of my baby, who was born at 35 weeks. They would assure me that baby was doing well and not to worry too much. Instead, they encouraged me to pump milk for baby, visit anytime, and get rest so that I would be ready when baby goes home.
Thank you so much for keeping us safe. We were indeed in good hands.

After years of suffering with chronic anemia, heavy bleeding, and severe pain, I finally found Dr. Nilesha Chitre, Specialist Ob/Gyn. From the very beginning, she was truly intentional in addressing my condition. I underwent surgery at RAK Hospital on 10th May. My Ob/Gyn doctor, Dr. Nelisha Chitre, is one of a kind, very professional, knowledgeable, and truly excellent at what she does. During a trip to Ras Al Khaimah, researching history for my next book, I was rushed into hospital after experiencing several syncope events in a short space of time. I knew I suffered from bradycardia. I fainted as I arrived in the ER and Dr. Ahmad Al Abrass diagnosed me with Complete Heart Block. He determined that I needed a temporary pacemaker immediately. Within 30 minutes he had me in the CATH-lab and the procedure was started.
Being away from home and loved ones, it is naturally very scary, but all the staff at RAK hospital provided me with enough support and warmth, it made me feel like I was very close to home. I highly recommend RAK hospital.

I was operated on by Dr. Sinclair and Dr. Nilesha mid June. They both made me feel very reassured and at ease about the procedure. The atmosphere in the operating theatre was very friendly and I felt I was being treated by a confident and an extremely professional team. I also received the best aftercare possible with both doctors regularly checking on me and adjusting medication to make me feel comfortable. I must mention the nurses Jasintha, Tantu and Jalu who stayed after their shift had ended to make sure I was settled after the surgery. Those caring and dedicated ladies made difficult moments more bearable. Thank you.

The doctor was very nice and concerned about my condition. She was also very concerned about my physical condition after the operation. It was my first time to have an operation. I was actually worried and scared, but the doctor calmed my emotions and made me feel at ease.

After being told I needed a hip replacement, I underwent the procedure at another hospital, but it didn’t go well. I suffered from immense pain and a swollen leg for a week post-operation. That’s when my wife reached out to RAK Hospital, and I was referred to Dr. Feras. He not only diagnosed the issue but also ensured the implant was properly cemented. Despite facing an infection during recovery, Dr. Feras took excellent care of me, and now, I feel much better. I highly recommend RAK Hospital to anyone facing health problems, no matter where you are in the Emirates.
