Overview

The Cardiac Sciences Unit at RAK Hospital, a leader in heart health, features integrated departments specializing in Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery. As the first private hospital in Ras Al Khaimah to acquire a Cath lab, we are at the forefront of cardiovascular care.
Cardiac Surgery Department
Our Cardiac Surgery Department excels in treating coronary artery disease, valve disorders, and aortic aneurysms through both traditional and minimal access surgeries, such as keyhole heart surgery. The department is also adept at handling complex cases, including adult congenital defects, heart failure, and various vascular and endovascular interventions. Our pioneering approach includes performing coronary heart surgery on a ‘beating heart,’ a technique unique within the UAE that optimizes patient outcomes.
Cardiology Department
The Cardiology Department offers expert diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions such as angina, arrhythmias, and coronary artery blockages. Utilizing advanced diagnostic procedures, our cardiologists work diligently to reduce cardiovascular risks and tailor treatment plans that ensure the best care for our patients.
State-of-the-Art Facilities
Our facilities include a 24/7 Cardiac Catheter Lab, equipped to perform all types of angiographies and angioplasties, including radial angioplasty. The unit is supported by a state-of-the-art ICU, managed by qualified cardiac anesthetists and equipped with the latest technology to handle all cardiac emergencies.

At RAK Hospital, our commitment to heart health is unwavering, providing both inpatient and outpatient services designed to deliver the highest standard of cardiac care.
