Clinical Psychologist
Ms. Zobia earned her MS Clinical Psychology in 2008 from the Government College University, Lahore, Pakistan. She is an expert in using different Psychotherapies such as Psychoanalysis, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Behavior Therapy, and Hypnosis. Before joining RAK Hospital, she worked in Al Fasht Medical Centre, Sharjah, UAE handling patient assessment, diagnosis and providing therapies for children and adults. She also worked for 7 years at the Recovery Rehabilitation Center for Addiction and other mental disorders in Pakistan dealing with children, adults, and adolescents with different psychological, social, academic, addiction, neuropsychiatric anddevelopmental disorder as well as inter and intra personal relationship issues.
Ms. Zobia conducted different workshops on different topics such as self-growth, parenting, stress management, assertiveness, relationships, Covid-19 related psychological problems and future, projective techniques, and other life skills in different universities in Pakistan. She is also one of the reviewers of the Clinical and Counseling Psychology Review Journal of the School of Professional Psychology, University of Management and Technology, Lahore. Ms. Zobia is renowned for being compassionate and empathetic.
