About Dr. Nilesha Chitre

Dr. Nilesha is a highly skilled and caring Obstetrician-Gynecologist committed to empowering women to achieve optimal health and wellness. She completed her MBBS in 1996 from NKP Salve Medical College, Nagpur, India. She then earned her DGO (College of Physicians and Surgeons) in 1998 and her DNB (Diplomat of National Board) in 2003 from Somaiya Medical College and Research Centre, Mumbai, India. In order to be equipped with the latest knowledge, she had the privilege to receive a Diploma in advanced laparoscopy course under internationally renowned Dr. Mettler at University of Kiel, Germany. Furthermore, she has attended an intense master class workshop in cosmetic vaginal surgeries at European College of Physicians and Surgeons in Greece.

Before joining RAK Hospital, she worked in Aster Al Raffah Hospital, Sohar, Oman. With years of experience in the field, Dr. Nilesha brings expertise in prenatal care, postnatal care, prolapse of pelvic organs, painful and heavy menstrual period management, high risk pregnancy, abnormal delivery, vaginal infections, female reproductive organ cancer management, and hysterectomy.
