Dr. Gaballa earned his MB BCh in 1980, MSC (Orthopedic) in 1984, and MD (Orthopedic) in 1990 from Assiut University (Egypt) and Glasgow University (UK). An orthopedic surgeon offering over 38 years of extensive experience in pediatric and adult orthopedic cases along with management of pediatric and adult skeletal trauma. This includes surgical management of both spinal and pelvic injuries. His areas of interests encompass pediatric orthopedics, with excellent experience in local and regional complex conditions, limb lengthening, joint reconstruction, and spine surgery. Furthermore, he has experience in the management of neck pain, low back pain, bone and joint infections, degenerative disorders of the axial and appendicular skeleton, common foot and hand conditions, and surgical arthroscopy among other general orthopedic disorders. Dr. Gaballa is an excellent communicator, skilled in building rapport with patients, ensuring patient’s comfort levels during history sessions, examination and orientation on treatment. Before joining RAK Hospital, he worked across different hospitals in UAE such as Saudi German Hospital, Medcare Orthopedic and Spine Hospital, Dubai and as head of department at Saqr Hospital, RAK. He has been working as a Chairperson and Adjunct Professor in Orthopedic Surgery in Ras Al Khaimah College of Medical Sciences, RAK,UAE since its establishment in 2007 until 2016. He also attended various courses and workshops and has been an active faculty member of the regional and international AO Trauma for the last twenty years. He has also numerous clinical researches, presentations and publications to his credit.
