About Dr. Karthik Rao

Dr. Karthik got his MS (General Surgery) in 2008 from Father Muller Medical College, India. He then obtained his M.Ch (Urology) in 2014 from Kilpauk Medical College, India, and received his D.N.B (Genito-Urinary Surgery) in 2015.
Dr. Karthik has wide scope experience in treating prostate-related conditions, diagnosing prostate cancer, female urology, laparoscopic and general urology, oncological surgeries, and robotic-assisted renal transplant recipient surgery.
Before joining RAK Hospital, he worked at Fortis Hospital Bengaluru as a Consultant Urologist, Andrologist, Uro-Oncologist, and Robotic Transplant Surgeon. Furthermore, he is also part of the teaching faculty of a robust DNB urology training program. He is a highly productive and accomplished researcher, with various national publications to his credit.
Dr. Karthik prioritizes patient comfort and satisfaction. He strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and well-informed about their urological health.
