About Dr. Hameed Arafath Anwar

Dr. Hameed earned his MBBS in 2008 from the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, India, and obtained his DNB in Radio-diagnosis in 2014 from P.D. Hinduja National Hospital and Medical Research Centre, Mumbai, India. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR, London), and he holds other degrees, including the European Diploma in Radiology issued by the European Board of Radiology and Diplomate of the Indian College of Radiology and Imaging. His areas of expertise include MRI, CT scans with a special interest in head & neck imaging and neuroradiology, routine ultrasound scans, USG-guided FNAC and biopsy, Doppler studies, and X-rays.

Before joining RAK Hospital, he worked as a Consultant Radiologist at PES Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, India, which is a tertiary care university teaching hospital. In addition to his role as a clinical radiologist, he was involved in training MD postgraduate radiology residents for the past 8 years. Dr. Hameed is actively involved in research and has contributed to numerous publications in reputable medical journals.
