Specialist Radiologist
Dr. Bigyan is a highly skilled Radiologist with over 7 years of clinical experience and more than 6 years in academic teaching in a tertiary care center with a Radiology Residency Program. He earned his MBBS in 2010 from Kathmandu Medical College, Nepal, followed by an MD in Radio-diagnosis in 2017 from the Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), Nepal.
His clinical expertise spans a wide range of imaging modalities, including X-ray, Ultrasound (USG), CT scan, MRI, Mammography, Digital Tomosynthesis, Fluoroscopy, and Basic Nonvascular Interventional Radiology. He has extensive experience in liver and renal transplant imaging, coronary CT, fetal anomaly scans, and breast imaging acquired from leading institutions such as Medanta, Apollo Hospital, and the Fetal Medicine Foundation, UK.
Before joining RAK Hospital, Dr. Bigyan served in various healthcare institutions in Nepal. He is deeply engaged in academic research and has contributed to several peer-reviewed medical journals. In March 2021, he authored and published a book titled “Interpretation of Chest X-ray for a Non-Radiologist, by a Radiologist”, aimed at simplifying radiographic interpretation for non-specialists.
