Dr. Ajinkya is an experienced nephrologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases. He earned his MBBS in 2008 from Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College, Pune, India. He obtained his DNB degree in Internal Medicine in 2017 from Dr. Hedgewar Rugnalaya, Aurangabad, India, and commenced his DrNB training in Nephrology at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital and Research Centre, Pune, India, in May 2018. He successfully completed this training over three years, concluding in August 2021. He efficiently performed over 2,000 interventional procedures, including temporary and tunneled catheter insertions as well as native and transplant kidney biopsies. His areas of expertise include Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and its complications, Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), critical care nephrology, dialysis initiation and maintenance, renal transplant donor workup and recipient management, thrombotic microangiopathic renal disorders, plasmapheresis, and extracorporeal therapies for poisonings and drug overdoses.
