Consultant Interventional Cardiologist
Dr. Minkyung Kim earned her MD in 2003 from Seoul National University College of Medicine, Korea. She then obtained her MPH in 2010 from the Postgraduate School, Korea University, Korea, and completed her PhD course in 2014 from Seoul National University College of Medicine, Korea. After receiving her Medical Degree, she had 4 years residency and 1 year fellowship in the Department of Internal Medicine, Cardiology Division at Seoul National University Hospital. Dr. Minkyung Kim worked as a Clinical Professor for 5 years in the Division of Cardiology, Department of Internal Medicine, Healthcare System, Gangnam Center, at Seoul National University Hospital. Before joining RAK Hospital she worked as a Consultant Physician, Head of Department, Division of Cardiology, Cardiovascular Center at Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE for more than 6 years. Her major areas of interest are Ischemic Heart Disease (Interventional), Dyslipidemia, Hypertension, Heart Failure, Atrial fibrillation, Pacemaker interrogation, and Loop recorder implantation. She is the first author or corresponding author of numerous clinical researches, journals, and publications.
