Job Summary:
RAK Hospital, a leading JCI-accredited facility in the UAE, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dialysis Nurse to join our esteemed team. The Dialysis Nurse will provide exceptional care to patients undergoing dialysis treatments, ensuring adherence to our high standards of patient safety and comfort. This role requires expertise in dialysis procedures, patient management, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor dialysis treatments, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments before, during, and after dialysis sessions, and implement appropriate care interventions.
- Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, care protocols, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment documentation and progress notes.
- Collaborate with nephrologists and healthcare teams to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Adhere to infection control practices and JCI accreditation standards to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid MOH or DHA nursing license or evaluation.
- Proven experience in dialysis nursing within a healthcare or hospital setting.
- In-depth knowledge of dialysis procedures, equipment, and patient care techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to manage complex medical situations and provide compassionate care.
