About Dr. Nithya Anna Kurien

Dr. Nithya has obtained her MBBS degree from Gulf Medical College, Ajman, UAE. She had worked under National Rural Health Mission for a year following which she completed her specialization from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, India. She worked in Pushpagiri Medical College and was actively involved in teaching of undergraduates and postgraduates. She also worked in Lisie Hospital, Kochi where her main focus was on Women’s and Pediatric imaging. She does early obstetric imaging, NT scans, assessment of fetal biophysical profile, materno fetal doppler evaluation, follicular studies, regular gyneac imaging, thyroid scans, pediatric abdomen imaging and fetal neurosonograms.

Dr. Nithya is an active member of breast imaging society India, and has special interest on reading mammograms, and breast ultrasounds. She also does dopplers (carotid, peripheral and renal). She has done her thesis on post-transplant renal complications assessed by doppler.
