A former Ethiopian ambassador to Australia recently received life-saving medical attention at RAK Hospital after being airlifted from Ethiopia following a haemorrhagic stroke.
Nagesh Legesse, 60, was in a semi-comatose state after suffering from a leaked or burst blood vessel in the brain.
Given his progressively deteriorating state, the medical staff at RAK Hospital, under the guidance of Dr Tinku Jose Kurisinkal, specialist neurosurgeon, immediately stabilised his condition before providing him surgical treatment.
