What are these tests for?
- NT scan is recommended to understand whether the baby can have any chances to be affected by chromosomal abnormality like Down syndrome and others.
- NT scan is now considered a major scan to identify life threatening abnormalities like Omplhalocele, Anencephaly, and absence or fusion of limbs at early stage.
- NIPT is a blood test. It is a screening test that gives results up to 99% to know whether the baby can be affected by chromosomal abnormality or not. It also confirms the gender of the baby.
