A free clinic for preventive health screening at the RAK Hospital during Ramadan has become very popular with the masses
To mark the gesture of giving back to the community, RAK Hospital, Ras Al Khaimah is holding a free of cost monthlong clinic for clinical and wellness assessment, eye screening and other essential tests, an official from the hospital said.
Dr Raza Siddiqui, CEO of Arabian Healthcare Group and executive director of the hospital, said, “Fasting during long summer days in particular takes its toll, and it’s important that we take good care of our health to avoid falling sick. In general too, people simply tend to neglect their health and need a wake-up call — such as this clinic — to realise the state of their well-being. The intensive assessments provide people with a thorough knowledge of basic health care that will help them avoid bigger issues including weak eyesight.”
