Dr. Waleed Yasin Kadro earned his MD in 1985 from the University of Damascus, School of Medicine in Syria. He did his Internal Medicine Residency training at Georgetown University in Washington DC, USA, and obtained his Cardiology Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Medicine, as well as his Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
Before joining RAK Hospital he worked as the Chief of Cardiology & Interventional Cardiology in Zulekha Hospital, Sharjah, UAE. As part of his experience Dr. Waleed Yasin Kadro has worked as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist in Washington Hospital, USA for 7 years, Consultant Interventional Cardiologist in Cardiac Centre, Syria for 10 years and as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist in Sulaiman Habib & Specialized Medical Centre, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 6 years. He is also a member of various associations such as American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians-American Society of Internal Medicine, Canadian Association of Interventional Cardiology, Saudi Heart Association, Syrian Medical Association amongst others.
