Dr. Dinanath Thakar received his medical degree from Grant Medical College, Mumbai, India, in 1975 and obtained his MS degree in surgery in 1978. From 1979 to 1984, he trained in Ireland and England at The London Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital Harlow, Gruby Road Hospital Leister, and Regional Hospital Limerick and consequently qualified for the Fellowship of the Royal College in 1980. His career also brought him from India to Saudi Arabia, where he worked at the Jeddah National Hospital. He joined RAK Hospital in 2010, where he has successfully set-up the department of Urology. His experience covers the entire field of urology including urological reconstructive pediatric surgery and urological cancer surgery.
